Who I Am
I’m Sume — a motion and graphic designer with a gut for clarity and a taste for clean impact. I studied Communication Design (Motion Specialization) at Open Window, where I fell in love with motion design.
I design with instinct and intention.
Raised in Harties — where the potholes test your patience and the views know exactly what they’re doing.
My style’s the same: grounded, a little unexpected, and always designed to last.
My Chaos Crew
When I’m not deep in the zone, I’m probably:
Arguing with my parrot, Gatiep
Laughing at my Pekingese, Mozzie
Or giving in to Luna’s endless demands
Luna’s the boss. I’ve accepted this.
Mozzie has no thoughts, only vibes.
Gatiep thinks he runs the business. (He doesn’t, but don’t tell him that.)
Princess (Yorkie, original queen of the house) mostly keeps her distance from the madness — royalty has standards, after all.
How I Work
I don’t do noise.
I don’t do trends-for-trends’ sake.
Whether it’s a logo, a layout, or a full visual system — I design work that feels like something.
Intentional. Unignorable. You.
Why Meridian
I built Meridian as a space for elegance, clarity, and beauty.
A place where design speaks — not shouts.
Where presence matters more than pretense.
Where stillness and story carry more weight than surface-level polish.
